Cherry & Dark Chocolate Cookies

 
 

Cooking with the seasons is really important to me and as it is cherry season it’s time to whip up the most deliciously naturally sweet thing. These cherries are naturally sweet and packed full of nutrition, when paired with dark chocolate, you couldn’t possibly call these unhealthy!

Ingredients


250g of cherries (pitted)
150g flour
50g oats
60g sugar
2 tbsp of mixed seeds (flax, pumpkin and sunflower)
50g of 70% dark chocolate chips
70ml of oil of choice (I used walnut) 1 tsp of baking powder removed & chopped 50ml of almond milk


Method


1.
Mix the oats, flour, seeds, sugar and baking powder.

2.
Add oil, almond milk and mix until well combined. Add chocolate chips and cherries.

3.
Spoon over a lined baking tray, press with your hands into a cookie shape. Bake for 15-20 min at 180C.
