Red Lentil Bread

 
 

This red lentil loaf is full of plant-based protein and gut friendly fibre. It’s also binded together by olive oil which offers heart health benefits from its Omega-3 content.

Ingredients


400g red lentils

2 tbsp baking powder

5g salt

60ml olive oil


Method


1.

Soak the lentils overnight

2.

Drain and rinse the lentils

3.

Add to a food processor together with the rest of ingredients

4.

Spread over a loaf tin lined with parchment paper

5.

Bake for 60 min at 180C
